Seniors Race along River Derwent

On Thursday 8 May senior girls from Years 7 to 12 competed in the 2014 Cross Country.

The event was a great success with the weather showcasing just how picturesque the course is as students raced along Nutgrove Beach against the scenic backdrop of the River Derwent and Mount Wellington.

A variety of distances were run by the girls and all enjoyed the event.

Physical Education Teacher Emily Hogan, was pleased with the level of enthusisam from all the girls.

"It was great to see large numbers particpating in the cross country events with the girls cheering their friends on to bring home some great results," said Mrs Hogan.
