Then and Now

It’s always fascinating to look back and see how the School has evolved over time. We are sure the founders, Miss Travers and Miss Morphett, would be pleased to see how their belief that young women could achieve anything has continued to be evolved in the development of our expansive and beautiful campus, whilst still remaining true to their values and ethos.

It’s quite amazing to look down at Fahan from the sky and compare these two aerial photographs, they show so clearly how far the landscape has developed both within Fahan and our surrounds. The Boarders’ Flat, in front of Nateby House, was used by the girls for their “physical training” in the early years and is still a much-loved area for our current students today. The Barn, relocated successfully to the Oval in 2017, made way for our state-of-the-art Food and Digital Technology Hub which was opened the following year.

We hope you enjoy this collection from our Archives.
