Outside School Hours Care

The Lipscombe and Fahan relationship extends to the provision of After School and Vacation Care. After Kindergarten Care, After School Care and Vacation Care is provided for children aged up to 12 years in conjunction with the Pre Kinder program, in a shared space. This program includes a balance of planned and spontaneous age appropriate activities, with time for homework and rest considered.

The Vacation Care program operates in each block of school holidays as well as mid term breaks. On occasion we hope to be able to combine with Lipscombe’s Waimea Heights Vacation Care program to provide some activities and excursions as part of a larger group.

After School Care operates daily from 2.45pm – 6pm. Holiday Care operates between 8.30am and 6pm daily. Care can be offered from 8am by arrangement during holiday periods.

Licensing and Accreditation
Both Pre Kinder and Outside School Hours Care programs operate as licensed Childcare facilities by the Child Care Unit, Department of Education. Child care benefit is available to all eligible families.

In addition to being licensed to operate, all Early Years Children’s programs must be accredited through the National Child Care Accreditation Council (NCAC). Details of accreditation status for all child care services is available at http://www.ncac.gov.au
