HOBART

 

Hobart, is the capital of the state of Tasmania. The city is beside the Derwent River beneath Mount Wellington. Hobart is the largest port of the island.
The port of Hobart is one of the ten deepest city ports in the world. Exports include wool, ores, timber, grain, hops and fruit.
Hobart has a population of 180 000 people. The suburbs of Hobart stretch along the river Derwent . We make cloths to keep us warm. Our cloths are made out of thick wool and materiel to keep us warm In Hobart beaches it is very cold down here. We also live in houses. built out of bricks and wood.
Hobart was first settled at Risdon Cove in 1803. It is now the capital of Tasmania. We have factories, shops and even the parliament of Tasmania.
In Australia we have four seasons in a year. We have Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring. In Summer and Spring we wear shorts, T- shirt jumpers, skirts, socks, shoes and caps. In Winter and Autumn we wear jumpers, skives, trousers, beanies socks and shoes.
