We really enjoyed eating Indonesian Food

OUR DINNER AT DEDES

On Tuesday August 6th we went to a restaurant called Dedes for an Indonesian meal . Our whole class went and our mums and dads too. When we walked in the door. Mr Lelong, our teacher, gave us school hat that were too small for most of our heads.

Some of the meal was really spicy and some was not spicy. First we had prawn crackers which are really nice they smelt like prawns and we found out that they stuck to your tongue. Next we had rice that was also delicious. It smelt like white rice we have at home.

We had chicken wings some of the people in my class said it had rice in it and it tasted like it had chicken honey flavouring on the skin. For dessert we had ice cream that was strawberry chocolate and vanilla and had chocolate topping all over the top it tasted GREAT.

For drinks we had a choice of lime, orange and raspberry cordial. The raspberry stained our mouths. Once we had a mixture of all of them. It tasted disgusting. We all had a great time and so did all of the parents.

Thankyou Mr Lelong .

On Tuesday the 6th of August Year Four, Fahan school went to an Indonesian restaurant called Dedes. Our whole class went and our parents too and a few brothers and sisters.

At Dedes we ate prawn crackers for starters then we ate rice with some meat which had gravy on it which tasted quite nice. Later we had a noodles which was a browny colour and tasted very spicy. Some people even dared each other to put a whole mouthful of it in there mouth and then they took their drinks away from them. After the noodles we had some chicken wings that were stuffed with vegetables and a few other things.

Later we had a dessert which was strawberry, chocolate and vanilla icecream with a chocolate topping on top. The restaurant didn't supply drinks, so our teacher Mr Lelong brought red, orange and green cordial for us to drink. The parents brought their own wine to drink.

I enjoyed Dedes very much.
