On Monday 27 November, our Year 10 girls embarked on three exciting camps and experienced a wide range of activities. The girls were given the option of choosing bush walking in the Walls of Jerusalem, rafting on the Gordon River or canoeing in the Derwent Valley.

The rafting group started their trip near the Tahune Airwalk and rafted their way down to Huonville, camping along the way until Thursday. The canoeing group were dropped off at Sir John Falls by charter yacht, Stormbreaker, and made their way down the Gordon River to Heritage Landing, camping on the river bank along the way. The bushwalking group travelled to the Walls of Jerusalem and walked in to Wild Dog Creek, via Solomon’s Jewels. The group were based there and had day walks to areas such as Dixons Kingdom, Lake Adelaide and King David’s Peak before walking out again on Thursday morning.

All three camps were blessed with magnificent weather and, from all reports, the girls have had a marvellous time.
