In History and Geography, Year 7 students have been exploring water scarcity and its potential solutions. Last term, they had the opportunity to meet Diana Butler, the CEO and Co-Founder of Care for Africa Foundation, which is one of Year 12's chosen charities this year. Established in 2006, Care for Africa focuses on five key areas: water, health, education, empowerment of women and girls, and social enterprise. The students were delighted to meet Diana and hear her stories. Her visit inspired the students to raise awareness about the critical issue of water scarcity.
