Lighting up the Longest Night with our Early Learning Winter Solstice Lantern Walk

On Monday evening, our Kinder to Year 2 students and their families gathered to mark the annual Winter Solstice Lantern Walk around the School grounds. The evening opened with our Year 2 students singing We Carry On the Light before the walk began.

 

Throughout the term, students have been using their Art and Vertical Groups lessons to design and make their own lanterns, sculptures and installations. Wandering through the School grounds with their families, the girls discovered their creations hanging from the trees and displayed across the campus.
