After graduating from the University of Tasmania, Ursula taught in the State and Catholic systems before moving overseas to work as an English Immersion teacher at Eton House International School in Singapore. Upon her return to Tasmania, Ursula taught at her alma mater, Collegiate.
Ursula has over two decades of teaching experience where she has worked with children from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6 in a variety of school settings. Ursula began teaching at Fahan in 2010 and immensely enjoys the collaborative nature of the position.
"To me Fahan is like a precious jewel or a hidden gem. I have taught in a number of schools and at Fahan there is a true aura of care, concern and a willingness to provide meaningful & relevant experiences. It truly is a special place where the girls are known, looked after and challenged."
Ursula and her husband James have two children, Jack and Alice, who attended Hutchins and Fahan.
"The most valuable resource that all teachers have is each other. Without collaboration, our growth is limited to our own perspectives." - Robert John Meehan
