The results of the Tasmanian Year 12, 2011 students' Australian Tertiary Admissions Ranks (ATARs) were released just before Christmas and Fahan School students were among those ranked as achieving exceptionally high results.

All of our Year 12 girls achieved outstanding results with 100% qualifying for university entrance.  Of these, 80% achieved ATAR scores in the top 20% and 39% achieved scores in the top 10%. These results have marked 2011 as one of the School's overall best years in academic achievement. This continues the Fahan tradition of excellence.

One of our students also made the list of the top 100 Tasmanian Certificate of Education (TCE) scores in the State.

Clare Browne (pictured above) performed outstandingly well, achieving an ATAR score of 99.6. Across Years 11 and 12, Clare achieved perfect scores in all her TCE examinations and was listed in the news as being one of the top 100 performers in Tasmania!

Congratulations to all of our girls who have performed exceptionally well in their academic studies as well as in the areas of sport, the arts and community service. All of the 2011 Year 12 leavers are true all-rounders who have been an asset to our community.

We wish them all the very best for their exciting futures ahead!
