Senior students from Fahan School will have an exciting start to their new academic year when they return to an architecturally designed and refurbished Senior School, due for completion within the next few weeks.

Commencing in November 2012, the building works have transformed the main senior school building into a lighter, brighter and more spacious learning environment, while maintaining the original 1948 façade.  It sits very comfortably in the picturesque garden setting, with expansive views of the beautiful Derwent River from both learning and recreation areas.

Principal, Tony Freeman, is looking forward to welcoming students back to enjoy the benefits of this new and exciting redevelopment.

“The new design will provide our girls with a more contemporary and flexible physical environment to complement their learning”, Tony said.

“Our aim in upgrading is to continue to facilitate the high quality teaching and learning programs available at Fahan to all our current and future students.”

Fahan School would like to extend an invitation to all prospective families to visit the School for a tour and experience at first hand the opportunities that exist for every student as a Fahan girl. For further information please call (03) 6225 1064 or visit www.fahan.tas.edu.au
