Treasured Alumna and star of Australian stage and screen, Robyn Nevin AM delivered the annual Travers Morphett Lecture on Wednesday 14 August at Fahan School TM Hall.

Robyn has been an actress for more than fifty years, graduating from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in 1960. She has also been a director for stage and screen and a theatre producer, running two state theatre companies as Artisitic Director and CEO.

The TM Lecture was a wonderful night with around 200 guests, students and staff enjoying listening to Robyn’s remarkable life stories. Robyn spoke fondly of her time at Fahan and especially of Miss Morphett, as it was Miss Morphett who encouraged her to pursue acting during her time at Fahan, in school plays and also presented her the opportunity to audition for NIDA.
