Our Year 6 students farewelled our visitors from Tokyo Jogakkan, our sister school in Japan. During the past week, our Year 6 students enjoyed learning more about the Japanese culture with some of the highlights being: dressing up in beautiful kimonos, taking part in a traditional tea ceremony, learning the art of calligraphy and playing entertaining games together with their Japanese friends. The Tokyo Jogakkan students enjoyed scavenger hunt around the School, up-close and personal experiences with Australian animals at Bonorong Wildlife Park, a scenic bushwalk of Alum Cliffs and family life during weekend homestays with the Year 6 girls. A wonderful time was had by all and many special memories were made.
