Our Year 6 students recently returned from four full days in Canberra, where they explored our nation’s capital through a vibrant program of learning and discovery. Their itinerary took them to Parliament House, the Australian War Memorial, the National Gallery of Australia, Questacon, the Royal Australian Mint, the National Electoral Education Centre and the Museum of Australian Democracy, among other highlights.
From science and art to history, sport and civics, each visit offered a deeper insight into Australia’s story. Alongside the formal program, the girls enjoyed plenty of fun activities, including an evening of bowling and time to unwind together.
The experience broadened their horizons, strengthened friendships and nurtured confidence and independence. We are so proud of the way they represented Fahan and embraced every opportunity on offer.
