Outstanding 2025 TCE Results

The 2025 Tasmanian Certificate of Education (TCE) results have now been released, and we are proud to celebrate the achievements of the entire Year 12 cohort. Every student achieved an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR), reflecting both academic success and the confidence, resilience and commitment developed throughout their time at Fahan.

These results speak not only to individual outcomes, but to the sustained effort, perseverance and care shown by our students across their senior years.

Statewide Recognition

We are delighted to acknowledge Hannah Sheen, who has been awarded an Outstanding Academic Achievement Award for 2025 by the Tasmanian Assessment, Standards and Certification (TASC) for attaining an ATAR of 99.5 or above - one of the highest academic results in Tasmania.

Congratulations also to Mia Fagan, who placed in the top 100 students in Tasmania, an impressive achievement.

Other Key Achievements

  • Fahan’s median ATAR was an outstanding 92.8, meaning that 50% of our students earned rankings that placed them in the top 7.2% of students nationally.
  • 33% of our girls achieved an ATAR of 95 or above, placing them in the top 5% of students nationally.
  • 57% of students achieved an ATAR higher than 90, placing them in the top 10% of students nationally.
  • 90% of students achieved an ATAR higher than 80, placing them in the top 20% of students nationally.
These results reflect the depth of effort and consistency demonstrated by the cohort across the year.

Pockets of Excellence

We are also pleased to celebrate our Year 11 students, with seven students qualifying for a Pocket of Excellence. This award recognises academic strength and balance, requiring an average of 19 or above in a student’s top two subjects and a combined score of more than 70 across four subjects.

A Community Effort

We extend our sincere thanks to our dedicated teaching staff, whose expertise, guidance and ongoing support have been central to helping each student reach her potential. Their commitment to knowing, challenging and supporting every learner is reflected in these outcomes.

We congratulate the Class of 2025 on their leadership and contribution to the life of the School this year. We wish our entire Fahan Community a happy holiday season and a wonderful summer break.
