Arts Week provided Senior students with a vibrant program of activities celebrating creativity, collaboration and performance across the Fahan Community. From music and visual art to trivia and theatre, the week offered students a range of opportunities to showcase their talents and try something new.
The week began with Finish the Lyric, where students and staff alike raced to the microphone to identify songs after hearing just 10 seconds. The event created plenty of excitement and laughter as participants tested their musical knowledge. Midweek, some students took part in a collaborative Art workshop led by Ms Pitt. Using mixed-media techniques, students worked together to create a mural.
On Thursday, House pride was on full display during the Jeopardy Quiz. Teams representing Fenton, Franklin and Freycinet competed in a friendly battle of general knowledge, quick thinking and teamwork. Fenton ultimately secured the win, impressing the audience with a memorable one-minute Harry Potter sketch in the bonus round.
Arts Week concluded with the much-anticipated Lip Sync Battle, which lit up the stage with energy and enthusiasm. Students embraced the opportunity to entertain their peers through a series of lively performances that had the audience cheering and celebrating their confidence and creativity.
Congratulations to Arts Chair, Lily Bartel, for coordinating an engaging and enjoyable week of activities. Arts Week was a wonderful celebration of the important role the Arts play in fostering imagination, self-expression and community at Fahan.
