Our Year 6 students recently enjoyed a wonderful cultural exchange, welcoming visitors from our sister school, Tokyo Jogakkan Primary School, as part of our long-standing exchange program.

Throughout the visit, students shared a range of activities designed to foster friendship, cultural understanding and collaboration. Together, they cooked, played games at Long Beach, explored the Hobart Zoo and Aquarium, and took part in a variety of traditional Japanese cultural experiences, including kimono dress-up, a tea ceremony, Japanese dancing, calligraphy, songs and games.

The exchange provided students with a valuable opportunity to learn from one another, strengthen international friendships and gain a deeper appreciation of each other's cultures.

A sincere thank you to our wonderful Year 6 families for welcoming our visitors into their homes over the weekend. Your warm hospitality and support played an important role in making this such a memorable experience for everyone involved.
