Kindergarten to Year 2 students came together in Vertical Groups, connecting across year levels through a range of hands-on learning experiences. Students from the Years 11 and 12 Working with Children class also joined the groups, working alongside our younger students.
The Garden Create group explored colour through painting, using real daffodils as inspiration, while the Cooking Group made pinwheel scones in the Food Hub. In Learning on Country, students learned about safe fire practices and the significance of fire for Palawa people.
Every Thursday, the Vertical Groups provide opportunities for students of different ages to learn together, build connections and develop new skills through shared experiences.
