Who's Going?
Join us for a guided walk through historic Battery Point, led by Barb Edwards (née Hinman, Class of 1964), who will share stories and connections that bring this special part of Hobart to life through a Fahan lens.
For those wishing to join the walk, numbers are capped at 20 participants. We will meet at 10:00am at St George’s Church, Cromwell Street, Battery Point.
Wednesday 17 June 2026
10:00am
$50 per person
The walk is flat, approximately 1km in length, and will take around one and a half hours.
Members and friends are then invited to lunch at midday at 3 St Georges Terrace, an 1890s Battery Point workers’ cottage. Some guests may prefer to join us for lunch only. Places for lunch are limited to 30 guests in total.
If the walk needs to be postponed due to wind or rain, participants will be notified the morning prior. Otherwise, please rug up and enjoy the winter air.
RSVP by 10 June 2026 by using the blue button.
Following your booking, we will be in touch to confirm whether you would like to attend the walk and lunch or lunch only.
