All of our 2010 Year 12 leavers left School in the Fahan tradition on Tuesday 14 December when they were 'tossed out' by the Year 11 girls following the Final Assembly. Their parents and friends watched the ceremony and joined the girls for morning tea.

On Wednesday 8 December the Fahan Community and students in Years 7-12 attended the 75th Annual Speech Night at the Theatre Royal to recognise the exceptional achievements of our students and members of the Fahan Community.

Current Fahan students proved their sporting prowess at recent hockey and netball 'grudge matches' held in conjunction with the reunion celebrations in October.
75th Anniversary festivities for Fahan School culminated this year in a weekend-long celebration from the 1-3 October when nearly 200 Alumni returned to the School for reunions and the highlight of the weekend, a special 75th Anniversary Lunch.

On Friday 19 November, 20 inspirational girls were awarded first place in the upper secondary section of the 2010 Tasmanian Crime Stoppers Youth Challenge, which asked students to tackle the issues involved with e-safety.
During a visit to Fahan School, Australian Cricket Captain, Ricky Ponting, applauded our girls as a group of "very special young Tasmanians."
After convincingly winning the state-wide Knockout Athletics competition by over 400 points, the Senior Fahan Athletics team travelled to Melbourne to represent Tasmania.

It has been a pleasure having students with us from our sister school in Japan, Yokohama Eiwa for the past 2 weeks. The Japanese students have immersed themselves into daily life at our School and were hosted by Fahan students and their families.
